As i understand, bbc don’t support dolby digital sound on their downloads. however this means (in my case) that i get sound on all channels and catch-up except the bbc. if i want to watch a bbc download i have to go in and change the sound output on the box from dd to normal and restart the box.. Video freeze and no sound on bbc iplayer and bt sport app laptop dell inspiron n5050 using windows 10 free upgrade since march this year no problems. browser google chrome. security is by defender and malware bytes. download, install the latest drivers for your laptop and check if it helps. inspiron n5040 drivers..

Can anyone help with my bbc iplayer problem please? i have tried all search advice i can find but still cannot get iplayer to work with video and sound. sometimes i can get a video at reduced image quality but sound is out of sync.. Flash seams to change it to modem line play back. which makes you computer have no sound. hope it works took me 2 months to figure it out after lots of downloads which dont work. patsy.
